Peraton is seeking a Technical Facilities Manager to join our team in Fort Irwin, CA to support our Deep Space Network (DSN) Operations and Maintenance O&M contract with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and NASA. The Technical Facilities Manager will assume the overall responsibility of the Goldstone Support Services Department and will be responsible for the performance and maintenance of the facilities. The selected individual is responsible for control and monitoring systems, HVAC, Fire Detection & Suppression, Electrical and Power Generation and Distribution Systems, Water and Waste systems, and all civil systems.
Power Systems experience
Exhibits full use of standard theories, principles, concepts and techniques associated with maintenance of responsible systems.
Provide programmatic and contractual energy conservation measures and renewable energy projects.
Oversee local implementation of capital work projects to include NASA/JPL designated Construction of Facilities (CoF) tasks.
3+ years experience of full use of standard theories, principles, concepts and techniques associated with maintenance of responsible systems ( HVAC, Fire Detection & Suppression, Electrical and Power Generation and Distribution Systems, Water and Waste systems, and all civil systems)
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Experience working with Union Employees.
