  • Overview

    We are looking to fill a critical role for a Sr. Pricing Analyst for our Herndon, VA location.


    • Prepare timely, accurate and compliant cost and business proposals.
    • Participate in the proposal pricing process to include: develop cost volume completion schedules; assist in development of pricing strategies; coordinate internal and external cost requirements; review, analyze and compile cost data; prepare cost volumes.
    • Work closely with Capture/Business Development, Contracts, Purchasing, Human Resources and Operations to ensure accuracy and coordination of cost proposals and to collect data.
    • Assist in developing competitive analysis, Price to Win.
    • Assist in cost estimating and development of Basis of Estimates.
    • Work with technical subject matter experts to estimate costs required to deliver complex engineering solutions in a competitive environment.
    • Participate in pricing review with upper management and coordinate with senior staff to determine pricing structure and strategy.
    • Support audits and participate in cost proposal clarifications or negotiations.
    • Utilize processes and tools that result in compliant/quality pricing proposal.
    • Prepare cost volume documents in a timely manner.
    • Provide direction to subcontractors involved in proposal preparation.
    • Support other pricing team members in preparing responses and review of work



    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Math, Business or related field plus 10 years of related experience
    • 10+ years of experience pricing to Government requirements for services, both task orders and strategic contracts.
    • 3+ years of experience doing proposal pricing process to include: develop cost volume completion
    • 3+ years of experience with cost reporting or Cost Estimating
    • 3+ years of experience with contract types including FFP, CPFF, CPAF and T&M. 


    • Familiarity with Government Cost Accounting Principles and the FAR.
    • Highly proficient in MS Office applications especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Strong math aptitude.
    • Ability to communicate and interact well with others.
    • Ability to organize, prioritize, and research multiple projects under tight deadlines required.
    • High level of ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision.
