  • Overview

    We are looking to fill a critical role for a Contracts Administrator In this role the Administrator will manage proposals, administrations, and general business processes of contract management for both government and commercial programs, in accordance with company policies, acquisition regulations and customer requirements.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor invoices/budgets against contracts and mitigate cost overruns.
    • Ensure project compliance with government contracting requirements.
    • Support Project Managers by providing guidance on contractual requirements.
    • Manage the start-up and close-out process for all assigned projects.
    • Assist with preparing cost proposals and narratives for projects
    • Develop strong customer relationships, interacting frequently, and working as a team leader to resolve issues and streamline processes.
    • Analyze, prepare and negotiate contractual agreements such as Teaming, Non-Disclosure, Memorandum of      Understandings/Memorandum of Agreements and other binding agreements as the business opportunity presents.
    • Support to internal program teams, to include highly complex problem solving, and providing creative solutions.
    • Accomplish Department and Division objectives by promoting sound business principles.
    • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills necessary for working in a team environment.
    • Familiarity with U.S. government Intel Community agencies is required.

    Qualifications

     REQUIRED:

    • Bachelors’ Degree in Business or related field plus a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
    • 3+ years of experience leading internal Request for Proposal (RFP) and RFP explanation meetings, contract pre-award meetings, final negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contract
    • 3+ years of experience preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and communicating records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate and Contract Management requirements
    • 3+ years of experience performing closeout of contracts, finalizing outstanding contract issues, issuing final modifications & invoices, and coordinating completion of contractor performance evaluations
    • 3+ years of experience interfacing with all levels of the project team (includes representing and interfacing with all levels of internal and/or external management and corporate organization person’s documents)

    PREFERRED:

    • Experience in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets preferred but not required.
    • Self-starter and independent worker with good organizational and computer skills.
    • PeopleSoft experience is a plus
    • Ability to understand technical terminology and developments
    • Good technical skills and ability to develop/follow procedures
    • Administrative and organizational skills
    • Some basic knowledge of contract types and terms
    • Understand and implement practices and procedures
    • Excellent communication skills
