  • Overview

    We are seeking a Subcontracts Administrator III to ensure the seamless administration of various government subcontracts in order to remain fully compliant with corporate policies and procedures as well as FAR guidelines.



    • Supports subcontract peer audits and provides internal & external customer support.

    • Administers in a paralegal manner all interpretations of subcontracts, teaming agreements, and any other subcontract documents.

    • Prepares, negotiates, and executes firm fixed price, time & materials, or cost plus subcontracts, as well as IDIQ type subcontracts

    • Tracks cost targets and maintain cost records for subcontract files

    • Reviews subcontract specifications, requirements and terms and conditions for RFP packages, including special provisions 

    • Provides subcontract support for proposals to government customers

    • Monitors subcontractor performance for compliance

    • Acts as liaison between subcontractors and technical personnel to ensure supplier performance to cost and schedule

    • Prepares bid packages; analyze and evaluate proposals

    • Selects subcontractors on a best value basis; cost and other factors considered

    • Negotiates and administers modifications to existing subcontracts

    • Ensures vendor compliance with government and corporate procurement regulations and policies

    • Prepares, sources, negotiates, and administers subcontracts and modifications to ensure compliance

    • Acts as interface with contracts and purchasing departments to develop subcontracts policies and procedures

    • Performs cost/price analyses

    • Participates in cross functional planning and implementation for projects and programs 

    • Assists with research/respond to any subcontract protests or claims

    • Interfaces with accounts payable for the timely payment of invoices to support EVM system

    • Performs other related duties as required



    • Education required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, and at least five years of experience.

    • Five years or more of government subcontracts experience

    • Must have experience providing overall cradle-to-grave subcontract support.

    • Working experience with Deltek CostPoint


    • Secret clearance or higher
