  • Overview

    We are seeking a Linux Systems Engineer with experience applying Agile technologies at Scott AFB, IL to support our US Air Force, Air Mobility Command customer.


    • Works from specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications.
    • Assists with design, coding, benchmark testing, modeling, simulation, debugging, and documentation of programs.
    • Work with applications generally deal with utility programs, job control language, macros, subroutines and other control modules.
    • Works on most phases of software systems programming applications and may require instruction and guidance in other phases



    • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science (or related field) and a minimum of 4 years related professional experience, or a commensurate combination of education, training and experience.
    • IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, or SSCP) certification.
    • UNIX/Linux/RHEL experience in a heterogeneous environment
    • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Required


    • Experience with RedHat and Windows security patching, IAVA process.
    • Basic understanding and application of any of the following:  Mongo, IdAM, SQL.
    • Previous DoD or Air Force experience with Command and Control (C2) systems
    • Strong communication skills
    • Excellent teamwork



    This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.  In order to obtain a clearance, you need to be a U.S. Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
