  • Overview

    We are seeking a Network Engineer in Denver, CO to support our mission critical customer.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform complex network designs, upgrades to segments of the network, and routine network operations and maintenance (O&M). 

    • Responsible for enterprise LAN/WAN engineering and integration activities across multiple site locations.

    • Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.

    • Design and plan network communications systems, Conduct testing of network design.

    • Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.

    • Conduct analysis and provide specific detailed recommendation for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet customer needs, including present and future capacity requirements.

    • Plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network. Advise network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.

    • Monitor network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options.

    • Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED: 

    • Requires Bachelor’s Degree (or the equivalent work experience) with 3-5 years’ experience in designing and plannning network communications systems, and conducting testing of network designs.
    • Must also have have a background in performing complex network designs, upgrades to segments of the network, and routine network operations and maintenance (O&M). 
    • DoD 8570 IAT-3 certification (CISSP)

    • Cisco and/or Juniper certification

    • Clearance required TS/SCI with Poly (current)
