Are you the kind of person that notices mistakes in menus and signs? Does inconsistent line spacing drive you a little mad? Do you believe in the importance of how a message looks as much as what that message says? Do you like being challenged and working with new and different teams to make the best looking documents? Are you an MS Office wizard who knows how to handle printers when they bleat “PC Load Letter” and do you like to dabble in creating graphics using Adobe Creative Suite applications?
If so, apply to join Peraton’s Proposal Center as a TS/SCI-cleared Desktop Publisher.
Our proposal professionals work on business development opportunities to support some of the largest U.S. Federal agencies. You will work with solution architects, technical experts, graphic designers, and writers to build winning proposal responses. Our desktop publishers contribute significantly to the style of our documents (while remaining compliant with proposal instructions), scheduling, and resource planning. While proposal development sometimes means night and weekend work, our entire team, our leadership, and Peraton corporate policies provide flexibility to support your work-life balance and reward hard work.
As one of Peraton’s proposal desktop publishers, you will help build a compliant and winning proposal from the pre-RFP stage to customer delivery. You will create corporate-branded, RFP-compliant document templates and assemble and prepare production deliverables throughout the proposal development cycle. You will work closely with the proposal manager and coordinator on the proposal production plan and schedule, order supplies, pre-stage essential materials, and assist with delivery planning. On large proposal teams, you will lead and mentor junior desktop publishers to ensure a consistent and compliant appearance across all volumes and documents. You will also:
