  • Overview

     

    Peraton is seeking a proven professional for the role of Business Development Executive for the National Security Agency and US Cyber Command (NSA/CyberCom). 

     

    The candidate will direct and lead client and business development activities with a focus on complex solutions for all aspects of the research, development, test and analysis, systems engineering, sustainment, IT, and operational support of the NSA and CyberCom. It is expected that the candidate will help lead pursuits where Peraton is the prime contractor, and will build teaming relationships with prime contractors for opportunities where Peraton chooses a sub-contractor position.  The candidate will drive all plans through the Peraton New Business Model, and meet growth goals. 

     

     

    A qualified candidate will have: 

    • Demonstrated a successful and track record of supporting or winning contracts supporting NSA and/or CyberCom.
    • Deep understanding of customer’s missions across the multiple directorates and entire enterprise at NSA and CyberCom.
    • Develop key relationships and/or teaming agreements with federal prime government contractors. .
    • Develop and mature key relationships within the customer’s organizations
    • Assist in guiding buying organizations by demonstrating technology solutions, architectures, capabilities, and potential acquisition paths for early stage opportunities, working with internal technical and program management teams to develop responses for requests for information (RFI), market survey’s, white papers, presentations, briefings, and major event demonstrations.

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Identify, qualify, lead, and win new business opportunities. 
    • Develop and maintain a new business pipeline and forecast, and update the Peraton business development tracking system on regular a basis.
    • Support capture activities
    • Close collaboration with Lines of Business, marketing, finance, contracts, legal, and executive management to win new business and re-compete contracts.
    • Embrace the Peraton Business Acquisition Process in daily activities, and effectively communicate all the opportunities and plans for management and technical teams.
    • The candidate will be based in Annapolis Junction, MD.  Some travel may be required as needed. 
    • Travel is also required in support of trade shows, conferences, and customer/contracting office meetings as needed.

     

    Qualifications

     

    Required:

    • 13+ years of experience in technical and engineering services industry and experience with NSA and CyberCom customer’s mission.   Also have expertise in the services market within the Intelligence Community (IC). 
    • Current understanding of client’s needs in order to align Peraton strengths and core values.
    • Must demonstrate high energy, integrity, strong business acumen, professionalism and commitment.
    • Highly effective communicator to all levels within the company and with clients.
    • Bachelor’s degree, with 15 years of professional experience.
    • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

    Preferred:

    • Demonstrated success in sales and business development of professional services, engineering, or related business solutions with clients in the targeted agency.  

     

    Security Clearance:

     

    Candidate must have a current and active TS/SCI Security clearance, with full Polygraph
