Responsibilities

Successful candidates will assist an Intelligence Community (IC) customer in McLean, Virginia with subject matter expertise on compartmented information access management. This position requires extensive experience with compartmented information access control and security program management.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for responses to compartmented information access requests, and conduct security reviews of access packages.
• Organize and review requests for access to a wide range of information, format and enter access actions into applicable IT system(s) and database(s) and communicate with requestors.
• Develop, analyze, and evaluate security programs to meet mission requirements related to personnel security programs.
• Communicate clearly with the customer any high-priority, time-sensitive requests and/or concerns; maintain documentation on access decisions.
• Provide recommendations on applicable policies, standards, processes and procedures, draft requirements, and implementation guidance, and identify and recommend ways to address gaps.
• Conduct technical or administrative briefings of government or contractor personnel and develop SOPs as required.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Active TS/SCI with Poly
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 4 years of prior relevant experience or master’s degree with 2 years of prior relevant experience.

• Experience as a CAP or SAP control officer within the IC or DOW.
• Familiarity with SCI security procedures, and information and personnel security principles and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to apply a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to resolve problems and develop guidance documents across a variety of circumstances and environments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and senior leaders to coordinate, network, and communicate across the IC and USG.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
