Peraton is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager (DPM) for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Network Operations Center (NOC). The DPB will serve as the second-in-command for a large-scale, mission-critical IT network operations support contract. The DPM organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks across geographically dispersed locations. This individual maintains senior-level client relationships, drives program performance, and ensures delivery of all contractual obligations on time and within budget.
The DPM acts with full delegated authority in the absence of the Program Manager and serves as a key liaison between Contractor personnel, government stakeholders, and senior leadership within the CBP organization.
This position requires full-time, on-site presence at the designated CBP NOC facility in Ashburn, VA.
Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage multi-disciplinary teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations, ensuring staffing levels, skill alignment, and performance standards are maintained.
Organize and delegate responsibilities to subordinates; oversee the successful and timely completion of all assigned tasks and deliverables.
Foster a high-performance culture aligned with Contractor and government mission priorities.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams through high pressure incidents and build trust with government customers. Must be able to explain complex network issues clearly, work across organizational boundaries, and turn discussions into decisions and follow through.
