Responsibilities

Supports a portfolio of intranet and restricted web custom applications. Develops secure, modern applications primarily using C#, .NET Core, Blazor, and Razor Pages, with React or modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks for front-end interfaces.

 

Position will be on-site to one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Falls Church, VA, Aurora, CO, or Tacoma, WA.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain secure, restricted web applications.
  • Implement C#, .NET Core, Razor Pages, Blazor components.
  • Build modern, maintainable front-end components using JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals.
  • Integrate REST APIs and backend data services.
  • Utilize Entity Framework Core for data access.
  • Manage and configure SQL Server databases.
  • Work with IIS/Windows Server environments.
  • Troubleshoot full-stack issues across UI, API, and database layers.
  • Remediate SAST/DAST findings and ensure application security.
  • Support OIDC/OAuth authentication (e.g., Login.gov integration).
  • Write unit and integration tests and support CI/CD workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate within SAFe Agile.
  • Apply AI-assisted development responsibly.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; 12 years of experience with a high school diploma.
  • Strong experience developing and maintaining web applications using C# and .NET 8+/ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience with modern front-end web development, including JavaScript and/or TypeScript, component-based application design, state management, and integration with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working with SQL Server or other relational databases, including developing and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, table and column definitions, and other database objects.
  • Experience designing and maintaining applications within an established architecture, including use of shared development patterns, reusable components and services, appropriate service boundaries, and maintainable database access patterns.
  • Ability to troubleshoot full-stack application issues across the user interface, application/API layer, database, and hosting environment; identify root causes; and evaluate the potential impact of proposed changes.
  • Experience with Git-based development workflows, including branching, merge/pull requests, resolving merge conflicts, peer code review, and automated build or test processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently carry development tasks from requirements clarification through implementation, testing, code review, remediation of feedback, and completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proactively identify and communicate technical questions, blockers, risks, and implementation considerations.
  • Ability to participate constructively in peer code reviews, explain technical decisions, evaluate alternative approaches, receive feedback, and incorporate lessons learned into future work.
  • Ability to document technical decisions and share knowledge with other developers and project team members.
  • Experience developing secure web applications and applying secure coding practices.
  • Experience using AI-assisted software development tools while maintaining responsibility for reviewing, validating, testing, and understanding generated code.
  • Must be U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with React and TypeScript, ASP.NET Core Razor Pages, Razor Components, Blazor, or comparable modern web application frameworks.
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core or similar object-relational mapping technologies.
  • Familiarity with hosting and troubleshooting ASP.NET Core applications in Microsoft IIS and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience identifying and remediating web application security vulnerabilities, including findings from SAST and DAST scanning tools.
  • Familiarity with common authentication and authorization concepts, standards, and technologies.
  • Experience with Section 508 accessibility requirements and development of accessible web applications.
  • Familiarity with DoD/DHA cybersecurity requirements, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF), Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, security documentation, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification, or the ability and willingness to obtain the certification within the required timeframe.
  • Current DoD/DHA Common Access Card (CAC) or prior experience working within DoD/DHA environments.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining aligned with team architecture, development standards, and broader application objectives.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
