Location: MacDill AFB, FL

Role:

  • In this critical role, you will identify, analyze, and disrupt adversarial uncrewed systems—including UAS, UUVs, USVs, and UGVs—and the networks that enable them across the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • You will work within the Combatant Command’s Directorate of Operations, Interagency Coordination and Targeting Division (ICTD), integrating with interagency mission partners to coordinate, synchronize, and align Department of Defense capabilities with partner authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counter Threat Network Targeting: Identify, map, and analyze adversarial networks involved in the development, deployment, procurement, and use of uncrewed systems by state, proxy, and non‑state actors.
  • Threat Analysis: Assess how uncrewed systems are employed in asymmetric warfare, terrorism, insurgency, and gray‑zone activities throughout the CENTCOM AOR.
  • Target Development: Identify and prioritize critical nodes across logistics, procurement, finance, and operational networks to inform kinetic and non‑kinetic targeting options.
  • Intelligence Fusion: Integrate multi-source intelligence (SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, OSINT, MASINT) to create a comprehensive understanding of UXS threats and supporting networks.
  • Special Programs Support: Apply experience with classified and compartmented programs to enhance counter-threat planning and operational effects.
  • Interagency & Law Enforcement Coordination: Collaborate with SOF, U.S. government agencies, law enforcement, and international partners to counter illicit proliferation and employment of uncrewed systems.
  • Counter-UXS Strategy: Support the development of lethal and non-lethal approaches, including EW, cyber, and technical countermeasures, to neutralize UXS and disrupt enabling networks.
  • Regional Expertise: Maintain deep situational awareness of threat actors, smuggling routes, procurement pipelines, financial facilitators, and proliferation networks across the CENTCOM AOR.
  • Briefings & Reporting: Produce actionable intelligence products, target packages, assessments, and strategic reports for senior leaders and mission planners.
