Agile Lead / Scrum Master

Peraton seeks an Agile Lead / Scrum Master to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support. 

 

Location: Fort Meade, MD. 

 

In this role, you will facilitate Agile development practices across DCDC teams, serving as Scrum Master and coordinating sprint activities.

 

 Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (standups, sprints, retros)
• Remove impediments for development teams
• Track and report on sprint progress
• Coach teams on Agile best practices
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies
• Maintain Agile tools and metrics

 Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
• Must have Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master™ Certification (PSM) or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Scrum Master certification
• Experience as Scrum Master
• Strong Agile/Scrum methodology knowledge
• Facilitation and coaching skills
• Knowledge of Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Strong communication abilities
• U.S Citizenship required
• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
