Mid-Level Systems Engineer – GEOINT Enterprise (TS/SCI)
Support mission-critical GEOINT capabilities across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial Intelligence (ASG), and federal partners. In this role, you’ll apply a multidisciplinary systems engineering approach to deliver resilient, reliable, and integrated solutions that enable timely and accurate intelligence.

Lead and support requirements engineering, traceability, and architecture alignment across NSG/ASG systems
Translate mission and user needs into system and capability requirements
Contribute to solution design based on requirements analysis and emerging technologies
Support allocation of requirements to architecture components and executing programs
Perform systems integration activities across enterprise environments
Support Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), trade studies, and engineering assessments
Assist with strategic technical planning, project management, risk management, performance engineering, and interface design
Analyze workflows, cloud capabilities, scheduling constraints, and existing system performance to recommend improvements
Support integration, test, evaluation, reliability, resiliency, and maintainability efforts
Location: This position is fully onsite with the option to work from either Chantilly, VA or Springfield, VA.

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field (engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, IT, operations research, engineering management, MIS, etc.)
6+ years of related professional experience, 4 additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree, or 2 additional years with a non-STEM degree
6+ years of experience in government or industry supporting:
DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, or PPBES
OR systems engineering of large, complex System-of-Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments
Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph
Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages
Familiarity with software development frameworks
INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification
Experience in geospatial intelligence (GEOINT)
Knowledge of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, GIS, geomatics, or related disciplines
Demonstrated knowledge of NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises
Membership or active participation in professional organizations such as ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, or USGIF
