Responsibilities

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for providing staffing support services to the recruiting department staff, leaders, and managers. The ideal candidate for the Recruiting Coordinator position will have a passion for recruiting, administrative experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include:

  • Communicate in writing and verbally with candidates from offer accept through day one start.
  • Provide updates to recruiters on candidate processing as necessary.
  • Updates Applicant Tracking System (ATS) candidate records as necessary.
  • May prepare employment offer letters and packets to send to new hires.
  • Initiate Background Investigation (BI) and Drug Screening (DS) process for new hires.
  • Works with candidate to obtain missing documentation to complete BI and adjudicate investigation.
  • Schedule start date, New Employee Orientation and process hire of candidate in ATS system.
  • Work with stakeholders (recruiter, hiring manager, security, etc.) to track candidates through the BI, DS and onboarding process.
  • May schedule interviews with candidates.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and at least 3 years’ experience in a professional environment.
  • Previous recruiting coordinator, administration, human resource, onboarding or background investigation experience is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with candidates, recruiters and leadership.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Experience with an applicant tracking systesm, such as iCIMS, required
  • Experience with a Background Investigation candidate management system required (such as First Advantage)

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
