We are seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer with hands-on experience across the full Systems Engineering & Integration lifecycle to support enterprise transformation initiatives across GEOINT mission systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of architecture, requirements, integration, and mission outcomes—and who brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to modernizing complex enterprise environments.
As part of the Enterprise Engineering & Architecture Division’s Integration Team, you will collaborate with Expert and Senior Systems Engineers and Integrators to analyze, plan, and integrate capabilities that advance GEOINT mission effectiveness. You’ll play a key role in shaping future-state architectures, informing investment decisions, and ensuring enterprise-wide synchronization across NGA programs.
Working alongside senior engineers, integrators, and architects, you will:
Perform architecture gap analyses and contribute to the development of future-state enterprise architectures.
Conduct engineering analyses to inform GEOINT mission and IT investment decisions aligned with the enterprise architecture baseline.
Execute baseline analysis and drive allocation of requirements to system architecture components, ensuring end-to-end traceability.
Capture and translate mission and customer needs into clear system and capability requirements.
Support systems integration activities across organizations by participating in integrated project teams.
Develop and maintain project plans, engineering artifacts (e.g., CONOPS), roadmaps, schedules, and risk documentation.
Participate in Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (COAs), trade studies, and engineering assessments.
Support NGA governance, configuration management, and risk management processes.
Help define and improve modern systems integration processes, promoting agile practices, digital engineering adoption, and cross-organizational collaboration.
Contribute to enterprise modernization efforts across Analytic, Collection Management, Data Services, Foundation GEOINT, and IT mission areas.
