Responsibilities

We’re seeking a highly motivated Benefits Advisor to serve as a key expert on our Health & Welfare and Leave programs. This senior individual contributor role provides high‑level oversight, project leadership, and guidance across the Benefits function.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with the Benefits Manager to support and enhance Health & Welfare and Leave programs
  • Lead complex benefits projects, including open enrollment, evaluation of new benefits/programs, vendor implementations, communication campaigns, and other key initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance to Benefits team members, HRBPs, and leaders
  • Resolve escalated or complex employee benefit issues with accuracy, care, and sound judgment
  • Hold vendors accountable to high service standards and drive continuous improvement in processes and service delivery
  • Conduct advanced data analysis and routine audits to ensure accuracy and data integrity
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to elevate the employee experience
  • Contribute to benefits communications, employee education, and enhancements to new‑hire orientation
  • Manage completion of specialized benefits documentation and regulatory forms

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree + 8 years of in‑depth benefits experience in health & welfare and leave of absence
  • 12+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong project management skills, and a collaborative, solutions‑oriented approach
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment
  • Experience in a mid‑ to large‑sized organization
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency
  • Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and influence without authority
  • Experience in government contracting, fast‑growth environments, or M&A is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
