This position is for a Ground Mission Engineering Lead for a large, multi-year contract supporting a cutting-edge and innovative space program. The Ground Mission Engineering Lead must have successfully demonstrated technical satellite ground engineering and program management competence, excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and interpersonal skills. The position will partner with the government Program Office to effectively plan, organize, and execute all acquisition and engineering activities across the system lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in systems engineering and program management principles, as well as practical experience with satellite ground systems. This position provides support to the customer’s execution of the Program with responsibilities that may include, but are not limited to the following:
