Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an Operations Site Team Lead in Oklahoma City, OK to support our Department of Defense (DoD) customer as part of a highly talented, highly motivated and high-performing team. As part of the team, you will support an exciting program and contribute to mission success for a variety of national security stakeholdersThis position will report to the Operations Program Manager and be responsible for local management and operations oversite of a private cloud infrastructure at a data center facilityJoin us and be part of the next generation of innovators as we blaze a trail forward for our profession. 

Responsibilities: 

  • This is a full-time, hands-on, on-site support position at a government facility requiring the ability to provide first-level system and network support along with problem resolution identification in support of a private cloud-based infrastructure 
  • Lead a small team to maintain reliability and resiliency of the cloud infrastructure services and networks at an on-site data center facility  
  • Lead the execution of tasks in support of the daily management of a cloud infrastructure hardware ensuring smooth operations, maintenance and supportThis may include working with local government site processes for scheduling maintenance, ingress / egress of hardware to the site, supporting COMSEC, and help with the disposition of equipment, as required. 
  • Manage small-to-medium impact projects from conception to completion 
  • Coordinate with the host organization for any facilities requirements and other needs that could impact the cloud infrastructure or network 
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the operations program manager and factory support personnel on the East Coast. 
  • Assist in the interview, training and onboarding of all new site team members, if applicable 
  • Assist in the collection of metrics for analysis, briefings, or other needs as directed by the Program Director or government customer 
  • Be on call, with shared responsibility, for any contingent maintenance support to the data center infrastructure 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • This position requires the candidate to possess a minimum of Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI. The candidate must maintain the clearance.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience
  • You have at least 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role leading teams or as a project / program manager 
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience managing projects in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure in an operational spaceThis role requires both independent contribution as well as the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams 
  • Strong ability to communicate with business / technical staff and comprehend complex technical concepts 
  • Meet DoD 8140 foundational requirements for an IT Project Manager or Technical Support Specialist with intermediate or advanced proficiency 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management or related field
  • Have prior experience with Intelligence or DoD programs, either within the military or as a civilian contractor 
  • Experience managing and / or handling communication security devices, keys, etc., in support of cloud infrastructure services

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
