Responsibilities

We are seeking an Expert-level Systems Integrator to support the Government by ensuring the integrity of corporate/business enterprise systems. Responsibilities include planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of solutions for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid services, systems, and subsystems using defined processes and tools.

 

Duties 

 

  • Provide comprehensive systems-level expertise using the Corporate Enterprise Architecture (CEA), ensuring understanding of system relationships, dependencies, and technical requirements across enterprise hardware, software, and services.
  • Plan, coordinate, design, and document solutions for enterprise systems and subsystems, using both custom and commercial technologies, including cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
  • Analyze, design, test, and evaluate network and data communication systems, including cloud capabilities, satellite networks, LAN/WAN infrastructure, the Internet, and distributed systems.
  • Support enterprise data management practices, system development, modernization initiatives, telecommunications, IT/cloud requirements, security measures, and related technical factors.
  • Lead and oversee the work of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level contractor Systems Integrators.
  • Maintain and integrate program, segment, and project plans, including technical roadmaps aligned to strategic objectives and evolving agency guidance.
  • Support enterprise-level systems engineering activities, including CONOPS development, technology roadmaps, architecture development, interface definitions, requirements decomposition, V&V, and transitions to/from operations.
  • Support end-to-end integration, testing, validation, and acceptance for Major System Acquisitions (MSAs).
  • Participate in technical reviews, technology readiness assessments, and TEMs to evaluate integration challenges and solution options.
  • Review system integration documentation for accuracy and alignment; coordinate updates with program and project offices.
  • Facilitate the transition of new services and capabilities into operations, identifying gaps in tools, automation, and testing processes.
  • Provide guidance on service virtualization and API approaches for enterprise systems.
  • Identify and help mitigate enterprise-level risks, issues, and opportunities related to system integration.
  • Apply thorough understanding of the CEA and the Acquisition Process to integrate systems, services, processes, and interfaces across multiple organizational and agency boundaries.

Skills and Experience

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field; or 18 years as a Systems Integrator in lieu of degree.
  • 18 years of experience in government or industry in relevant areas such as:
    • DoD/IC Acquisition Process
    • Requirements Process
    • PPBES Process
    • System engineering of large, complex Systems of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments
  • Demonstrated experience working with leadership, including strong communication, engagement, and critical-thinking skills.
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.

Desired

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including processes, tools, and languages.
  • Experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs or projects.
  • IC or DoD program/project experience.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
