Responsibilities

The Senior Systems Engineer leads multi-disciplinary engineering efforts to design, integrate, and sustain complex GEOINT systems across the NSG, ASG, and partner Federal Agencies. This role ensures delivery of timely, accurate GEOINT capabilities by guiding teams through the full systems engineering lifecycle—from requirements development to integration, testing, and long-term maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor mid- and junior-level engineers across requirements engineering, solution design, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, service development, integration, testing, and sustainment activities.

  • Oversee the planning, analysis, and traceability of user requirements, system architectures, procedures, and workflows; identify opportunities to automate or enhance system performance, including cloud-based services.

  • Guide teams in developing solution designs informed by mission needs, system requirements, and emerging technologies.

  • Support government stakeholders in capturing, refining, and translating mission and customer needs into clear system and capability requirements.

  • Contribute to the allocation of requirements across architecture components and program execution plans.

  • Perform complex systems integration across multiple systems, services, processes, and interfaces—often spanning multiple organizations and major acquisition programs.

  • Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), trade studies, and engineering assessments to inform technical decisions.

  • Assist government partners in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.

This role is ideal for a systems engineering leader who thrives in mission-driven environments and enjoys shaping end-to-end GEOINT capabilities across diverse organizations and technologies.
