Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced MISO Integrator to become a part of our Operational Planning, Implementation & Assessment Services Team.

 

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado.

 

Position Overview:

 

Peraton and its' Operational Planning, Implementation, and Assessment Services Team is seeking an experienced MISO Integrator to conduct Military Information Support Operations (MISO) planning and execution at the Combatant Command (CCMD) component level. This role ensures that the command group and staff fully consider MISO/PSYOP in the decision-making process, integrating these capabilities into operational planning and execution.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan, develop, integrate, and assess PSYOP/MISO in campaign plans, OPLANs, and crisis action planning.
  • Provide expert-level mission analysis, problem solving, and assessment skills.
  • Creatively leverage information systems and information-related capabilities (IRC); integrate with interagency and intelligence community (IC).
  • Develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the Information Environment (IE) while considering cultural aspects that impact planning, security, and risk assessments.
  • Review, analyze, and operationalize IO-related directives at tactical and operational levels in support of mission elements.
  • Apply technical skills to tactical, operational, and strategic planning/execution.
  • Identify and track measures of performance and effectiveness, providing expert advice on PSYOP/MISO application during operational concept development.
  • Deliver expert-level oral, visual, and written communications to advise, negotiate, and persuade managers, military officials, and senior leaders.
  • Gain acceptance of recommended concepts, guidance, policies, and regulations through effective briefing and communication techniques.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience; or master’s degree and 6 or more years of relevant experience; or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • MISO/PSYOP (37A/37F) MOS or sister-service equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience with MISO planning and execution supporting Combatant Commands, service component commands, SMUs, or Joint Task Forces. 
  • Expert knowledge of joint operational planning process, military decision-making process, and CONOP development, and in developing and accessing tactical and operational level PSYOP/MISO plans, orders, and series.
  • Expert knowledge of combatant command level structure (TSOCs, service component commands, JTFs) and experience navigating joint staffs and procedures
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Current U.S. Passport with ability to travel internationally.
  • Current, active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of DoD, Joint, and Army service doctrine, regulations, and policies.
  • Capable of recommending changes to policy, force structure and design, and command relationships
  • Able to operate in ambiguous environments with little guidance and feedback
  • Able to coordinate PSYOP/MISO actions within the proper military and inter-agency channels and develop policies that incorporate the principle of C2.
  • Ability to engage senior leaders and staff and conduct complex briefings to large audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively within a task organized working groups
  • Expertise in planning, integrating, and coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community entities.
  • Adept at developing and utilizing information products that leverage current and emerging technologies to inform planning, improve coordination, and enable timely decisions.
  • Must demonstrate creative and critical thinking, capable of quickly learning new skills, flexible and adaptable.
  • Be familiar with, certified in, or have applicable operational/field time experience in:
    • Military Deception (MILDEC)
    • OPSEC
    • EW
    • Cyberspace operations

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
