Responsibilities

 

Peraton Financial and Regulatory division is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst with solid analytical and communication skills to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting a Federal customer’s Enterprise Talent Management System. The candidate will directly interface with our customer for the maintenance and operation of the system.  This includes support of Performance Management, Learning Management, Compensation Management, and Succession Planning modules.   This position is fully remote but may require some on-site visits to the customer’s headquarters in Washington, DC.

 

In support of this work, the candidate will provide project management, business analyst, and functional testing support to ensure ongoing solution success and improvements including implementation of new features provided by the ETMS product vendor. The candidate will be required to complete the ETMS product training and achieve System Administrator Certifications. The candidate will work with client stakeholders, provide test support, develop and maintain appropriate documentation, and maintain project schedules.

 

The candidate is expected to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and work effectively with federal employees, subcontractors, and product vendor staff in a diverse team environment. This position requires a self-starter and team player with solid verbal and written communication skills.

 

What will you do:

 

  • Work closely with the customer to gather business requirements and understand business processes
  • Build strong relationships with the customer
  • Work closely with customer governance organizations to initiate and complete change requests
  • Ability to provide recommendations and alternate solutions, where applicable
  • Create and manage project plans and schedules
  • Develop change requests for submittal to the product vendor for any functionality that is not supported by the product, but required by the customer
  • Translate requirements into system configuration changes
  • Develop test plans, test scenarios and test scripts
  • Execute tests and document results to ensure configurations meet business requirements
  • Provide advice and consultation on interface and integration points with other systems
  • Support system and user acceptance testing
  • Identify and mitigate problems
  • Evaluate the impact and support implementation of quarterly Cornerstone release new functionality
  • Support existing client in evaluating current system usage and optimizing for future efforts
  • Perform system administration tasks such as Performance Review Task creation, Online Content Upload Catalog Maintenance, and reporting
  • Provide written and oral communications, including presentations

Qualifications

 Required Qualifications:

 

  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA
  • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Microsoft Project experience is required
  • Ability to independently organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple and changing priorities
  • Strong analytic abilities
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must have the ability to collaborate with multiple business areas within the organization
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain the required Agency Clearance

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience working in a Federal environment
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Experience with the Cornerstone talent management product or similar products is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of software testing
  • Working knowledge of the agile framework
  • Status Report writing experience
  • Familiar with evolving AI concepts and applications

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
