Responsibilities

Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA’s Business, National Airspace, and Technical Computing Services (BNATCS) contract. As a trusted partner to the Federal Aviation Administration, Peraton helps deliver the systems and services that keep our nation’s skies safe and connected.

We’re looking for innovative professionals who thrive in mission-critical environments and are passionate about shaping the future of air traffic management. This is your chance to make an impact on one of the world’s most vital transportation infrastructures, working alongside leaders in aviation, engineering, data science, and systems integration.

At Peraton, you won’t just support the mission — you’ll define it.

Join a team dedicated to protecting the safety and integrity of U.S. air travel. Peraton is seeking a proactive and highly organized Office Manager to oversee day-to-day administrative and operational functions supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This role is essential in ensuring smooth office operations, efficient workflow, and effective coordination across multiple teams and leadership levels. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative and organizational experience skilled in scheduling, reporting, and document management while maintaining a professional, service-oriented approach. This position requires the ability to anticipate operational needs and manage competing priorities for accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency.

In this position, you will:

  • Manage daily office operations including scheduling, communications, and workflow coordination across FAA program teams.

  • Provide executive-level administrative support such as meeting preparation, calendar management, and correspondence.

  • Develop and maintain administrative systems, reports, and documentation to support operational and program management functions.

  • Coordinate procurement and travel requests, ensuring compliance with internal policies and federal guidelines.

  • Maintain records, files, and tracking systems for contracts, purchase orders, and program deliverables.

  • Assist with budget monitoring, expense reconciliation, and procurement planning.

  • Support meeting logistics, including agenda development, note-taking, and action item tracking.

  • Oversee office supply inventory, facilities coordination, and vendor service requests.

  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT support teams to resolve operational issues and support onboarding activities.

  • Prepare status reports, briefings, and executive summaries as directed by program leadership.

  • Uphold confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in all administrative interactions.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines.

Why This Role Matters

Behind every successful FAA mission are the teams, systems, and administrative professionals who keep operations running seamlessly. As an Operations Office Manager, you serve as the hub of coordination—ensuring communication flows efficiently, resources are properly managed, and leadership has the support needed to drive national aviation initiatives forward. Your expertise in organization, documentation, and process management directly contributes to the FAA’s ability to maintain safety, compliance, and operational excellence across all programs.
