The Technical Operations Manager is responsible for executing strategic plans, supporting key business initiatives, and developing long-term customer relationships that drive growth and operational excellence. This role carries profit and loss (P/L) and revenue accountability for the assigned area or function. The Technical Operations Manager partners closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to identify opportunities, deliver high-quality technical solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction through disciplined project and operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out organizational strategic plans and initiatives in alignment with company and client goals.
Manage P/L and revenue performance for the assigned technical operations area.
Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Develop a deep understanding of client business needs and position the company as a trusted, strategic partner in decision-making.
Identify and pursue new opportunities outside the scope of current engagements to expand business footprint.
Lead client relationship management activities, including pre-sales support, senior management engagement, qualification of new opportunities, requirements analysis, and proposal/presentation development.
Direct and oversee project delivery activities within the defined technical area, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards while exceeding customer expectations.
Provide regular reports on project status, operational metrics, and business performance to both internal leadership and clients.
Evaluate and assess potential new projects based on size, complexity, scope, and strategic value.
Select, assign, and oversee project leaders and team members to ensure proper alignment of resources with objectives.
Engage directly with customers to assess satisfaction and address technical or operational concerns.
Participate in customer meetings, consulting discussions, and planning sessions to identify needs and recommend appropriate technical and operational solutions.
Promote and sell consulting or technical services to support the company’s growth objectives.
