The Surveillance Liason will be expected to perform the following:

  • Direct large-scale implementation efforts for FAA surveillance and radar systems.
  • Carries out strategic plans, supports business initiatives and works with new and existing customers to create opportunities for the company. Has P/L and revenue responsibility for target area or function as determined by management
  • Define strategies, schedules, and processes to support nationwide deployment activities.
  • Serve as primary liaison with FAA stakeholders on deployment and implementation matters.
  • Leads efforts in building the overall client relationship in existing accounts including relevant pre-sales activities, building senior management client/partner relationships, qualifying projects, understanding requirements, delivering presentations and proposals. Directs delivery of projects in defined area; ensuring projects are completed at or ahead of schedule, costs are managed to budget, and customer expectations are exceeded.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.

  • Demonstrated leadership in planning and executing major system implementations in mission-critical environments.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
  • Preferred: FAA experience
  • Understanding/ experience with Surveillance Systems

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
