Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill multiple positions on for the upcoming Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) – Cybersecurity, Privacy, Records and Information Management, and Environments Support (Cyber PRIMES).  On-site positions are located at Seaside, CA and Alexandria, VA (Mark Center). There are also opportunities for remote work. The program will support multiple task areas , including:

Cybersecurity Architecture and Planning Support

Cybersecurity Monitoring and Analysis

Software Security and DevSecOps Support

Cyber Response and Reporting

Cyber Assessment and Authorization

 

The purpose of the Cyber PRIMES program is to support the Information Protection (IP) Directorate within DMDC in ensuring the security and integrity of DHRA's Information Technology (IT) capabilities and data. Its primary goal is to provide timely and effective security and compliance measures to support DHRA's mission.  The Cybersecurity Division (CSD) within IP provides monitoring, analysis and risk reduction recommendations, while IT Operations (IT OPS) manages day-to-day operations. As it relates to cybersecurity activities it is the responsibility of the CSD division, supported by this contract to:

• Define cybersecurity tool requirements
• Audit and validate adherence to cybersecurity requirements and standards
• Consume data from cybersecurity tools to perform monitoring, analysis, and reporting
• Develop enterprise-wide and system-specific risk reduction and risk mitigation recommendations

 

The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role in supporting a complex IT enfironment consisting of 15,000 network and endpoint devices. These devices support the development and production of over 600 applications. DHRA uses the Enterprise Mission Assured Support System (eMASS) to oversee 100 Risk Management Framework (RMF) boundaries. This contract will provide cybersecurity oversight and support for all of DHRA's IT environments.

  • Cybersecurity Engineers
  • Information System Security Officers
  • Application Security Engineers
  • Security Operations Center Analysts (SOC) Analysts
  • Cybersecurity Tool Systems Administrators

*Salary range is based on geographical location and experience.**

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • All positions will require a minimum of a DoD Secret clearance, with many requiring TS/SCI security clearance.  
  • Educational requirements to include DoD 8140 and other IT and industry certifications are position dependent
  • Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the DMDC mission

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
