Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Citrix System Administrator to to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

 

The individual will be responsible for the implementation, administration, and support of the organization's Citrix virtualization environment. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of Citrix components, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of virtual applications and desktops delivered to end-users. They will also contribute to strategic IT initiatives and mentor junior team members.

 

Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Install, configure, and maintain Citrix infrastructure including servers, applications, and user access
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Citrix environments to ensure maximum uptime and user productivity
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure integration and functionality of Citrix with other systems
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates to Citrix systems
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Citrix environments
  • Create and maintain documentation for Citrix systems and processes
  • Microsoft Active Directory, focusing on Group Policy design and implementation for the Citrix space
  • Microsoft Azure and Aws Cloud Platforms
  • Citrix StoreFront and Federated Authentication Services, and other related technologies.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience or a High School diploma and 9 years of experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green card holder
  • Hands-on experience setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting Citrix environments
  • Extensive knowledge of Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler (Citrix ADC), StoreFront, and Director
  • Strong background in Windows Server administration and Active Directory management
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for resolving complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
