Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Program Finance Director to lead the program finance, cost control, and scheduling functions in a dynamic federal government contract environment. This pivotal role will support the US Special Operations Command.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of program finance, including cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling.
  • Perform complex financial analysis to support strategic planning and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial reporting and analysis tools to guide decision-making for assigned programs.
  • Monitor program performance and conduct variance analysis against budgets and schedules; recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as a key technical expert on financial analysis and compliance issues in a government contracting environment.
  • Coordinate and negotiate financial compliance matters with government agencies to ensure accurate contract interpretation.
  • Define program plan requirements and ensure cross-departmental alignment in developing and executing program plans.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors to ensure financial and operational objectives are met.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of key program metrics and performance indicators to senior management.

Qualifications

Requirements: 

  • 12+ years experience in Finance
  • Ability to maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Highly Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 8-10 years of applicable experience including 5+ years of experience supporting Government and/or Department of Defense customers

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
