Peraton is currently seeking Senior Managers, Contracts Administration to lead workstream contracts teams in support of the Brand New Air Traffic Control System contract. The Senior Manager will oversee a portfolio of orders within a workstream, performing the full lifecycle management of orders under this critical mission contract, partnering with the FAA to deliver strategic planning, task order proposal development, negotiations, modifications, and close-out, while ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations. This leadership position will require an experienced contracts management professional who is able to successfully provide accountability and responsibility for the following core areas of responsibilities:

  • Leading a dynamic and geographically dispersed team of contract administrators of varying levels (Junior, mid, to senior) that are dedicated to supporting contracts with other Prime contractors
  • Managing a portfolio of contracts with various contract types, complexities, and sizes all in support of the BNATCS Sector
  • Administer, negotiate and support task orders, including change management
  • Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with Company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Support risk reviews for solicitations, ensure terms and condition compliance, complete proposal compliance checks (color team participation), responsible for completion of any representations and certifications, assist with proposal and pricing strategy, supports the development of the contracts volume (to include any OCI Mitigation Plans), and serve as the negotiator for any resultant contract negotiation.
  • Advises program team of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
  • Monitors program performance for conformance to original proposal and maintains continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
  • Prepares and disseminates information throughout the organization regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination.
  • Initiates documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications.
  • Maintains contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.
  • Fosters trusting relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure the contracts system as well as filing is up-to-date in accordance with policies and procedures and support general ad hoc reporting and tasking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant field plus a minimum of 12 years of related work experience. 
  • Extensive familiarity with U.S. government contracting
  • Robust knowledge of working with agency supplements  
  • Extensive experience working all phases of the contract lifecycle, including preparing proposal responses to Request for Proposal (RFP), conducting negotiations and drafting/executing contracts, performing day-to-day contract management, and performing closeouts, including assisting with final modifications and invoices and completion of contractor performance evaluations
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of the project team (includes representing and interfacing with all levels of internal and/or external management and corporate organization person’s documents
  • Experience generating reports and developing workstreams for a team of contract administrators

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
