Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Technical Project Manager with experience leading a diverse team of DoD contracted advisors, analysts, and planners to achieve organizational objectives within our Client’s (USEUCOM) workspace. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall project management of activities for the contractor’s operations in the Client’s (USEUCOM) AOR including reviewing status of projects, manages schedules and prepares status reports, assesses project issues and risks and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervisory and developmental responsibilities of professional and technical personnel performing in their customary disciplines within a functional area
  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects
  • Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serve as liaison between project technical support and planning, project team, and line management, and the Military/Government customer lead
  • Responsible for Project Management Tasks to include: project schedule, deliverable tracking, monitoring/manage project deliverables uploads to the share portal, and C2IE data inputs.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Responsible for travel management; drafts/submits all Travel Authorization Requests (TARS) into the workflow for approval; drafts/submits expense reports for the team to support timely invoicing activities
  • Manages subcontractor work performance by suppliers
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
  • Provide data management and Quality Assurance (QA) across multiple projects and information systems to meet both Knowledge Management (KM) and Records Management surety requirements to client facing enterprise
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, and for intervention and problem solving with program manager and clients
  • Provide periodic and ad hoc status reports focused on progress, newly identified issues, closed issues, and challenges

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of planning experience or a combined total of a minimum of 14 years between education and relevant service. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements
  • Must possess a minimum of 7 years of DoD project management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ Office 365 (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
  • Proficiency in SharePoint platforms
  • Ability to learn new IT systems and create process instructions for others to follow
  • Must have experience managing geographically distributed teams comprised of personnel from multiple companies
  • Must have the ability to identify personnel and mission issues early, develop mitigation plans and communicate potential impacts and alternate course of action impacts to the customer.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be willing and able to travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of the program: Note some locations may be hazardous.
  • Must possess a current U.S. Passport.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Information Operations and/or Military Information Support Operations (MISO) is also enhancing but not critical
  • Familiarity with C2IE (Command and Control of the Information Environment) platform
  • Prior Military experience - Relevant current DoD project management work with any of the Combatant Commands
  • Master’s Degree and PMP Certificate

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
