Help shape the future of U.S. airspace safety and efficiency. We are seeking a Network Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day support, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure in support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In this role, you will ensure the availability, security, and performance of IP-based networks that support mission-critical FAA systems.This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs.
In this position, you will:
Monitor and maintain FAA network infrastructure, ensuring uptime, performance, and security.
Configure, install, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
Perform daily system monitoring, log analysis, and incident response.
Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues, escalating when needed.
Maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and configuration records.
Implement patches, upgrades, and configuration changes in line with FAA standards.
Support integration of FAA networks with modernization initiatives and new systems.
Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with NIST RMF, FISMA, and Zero Trust requirements.
Provide technical input for system security plans (SSPs) and compliance reviews.
Support disaster recovery, backup procedures, and network resiliency testing.

Familiarity with NextGen FAA modernization programs or air traffic systems.
