Drive the Future of GEOINT Through Advanced Modeling and Analysis
We are looking for an expert-level Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A) Engineer to lead the development and application of advanced modeling techniques in support of analysts, mission stakeholders, and warfighters. This role plays a critical part in defining and analyzing system and data requirements to improve NGA’s business and mission processes—ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate geospatial intelligence (GEOINT).
Lead High-Impact MS&A Activities
Guide and conduct advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making across NGA’s business and mission functions.
Model Complex Systems and Architectures
Develop models of NGA’s architectures, system requirements, and performance metrics—ensuring alignment with broader NGA and National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) strategies and the future vision for GEOINT.
Analyze Big Data to Identify Trends and Patterns
Oversee the design and application of complex models, tools, and algorithms to extract insights and patterns from large-scale datasets.
Support Trade Studies and Capability Assessments
Create simulations to evaluate alternatives, assess performance and design trade-offs, and explore new capabilities—providing data-driven recommendations for system deployment within existing NSG architectures and cloud environments.
Provide Technical Leadership and Mentorship
Guide and mentor teams of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level MS&A Engineers, ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation across all modeling efforts.
