We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Construction Technician/Inspector Lead Associate to take charge of overseeing critical construction projects from start to finish. In this leadership role, you will ensure that all work meets quality standards, complies with regulations, and is delivered on time and within budget. Acting as the bridge between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining safety, ensuring efficiency, and upholding our reputation for excellence in construction and infrastructure delivery.
Key Responsibilities of the Lead Construction Technician/Inspector Lead Associate:
Lead and supervise construction inspection activities across multiple sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Conduct detailed inspections of materials, equipment, and workmanship to verify compliance with design plans and contract requirements.
Collaborate closely with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address issues, resolve conflicts, and implement solutions that minimize delays and cost overruns.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including daily reports, inspection logs, and progress updates.
Monitor quality control and safety programs to ensure a safe work environment and adherence to OSHA and industry standards.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and oversight to junior technicians and inspection staff, promoting professional growth and team success.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding inspection findings, project status, and risk mitigation strategies.
Proactively identify potential construction issues and recommend corrective actions to safeguard project quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a construction inspector, technician, or related role, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, building codes, and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and digital inspection tools.
Certification in construction inspection, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
