Join a high-impact team driving mission-critical GEOINT solutions for national security. We are seeking a Senior Requirements Systems Engineer to lead and guide cross-functional engineering teams across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and partner Federal Agencies.
In this role, you’ll take a multidisciplinary approach to systems engineering—combining requirements development, solution design, integration and testing, lifecycle planning, and system performance to deliver reliable, resilient, and mission-aligned capabilities.
Lead and mentor mid- and junior-level systems engineers across a broad range of engineering functions, including:
Requirements engineering
Solution development
Integration and testing
Lifecycle scheduling and planning
Reliability, resiliency, and maintainability
Service development and performance analysis
Oversee the planning and traceability of user and system requirements, ensuring alignment with architectures, procedures, and technical workflows—including those involving cloud services and scheduling constraints.
Guide solution design efforts based on emerging technologies and evolving mission needs.
Support the Government in translating mission and user needs into clear, actionable system and capability requirements.
Contribute to the analysis and allocation of requirements to architecture components and active programs.
Assist with system integration activities, ensuring alignment across complex, multi-system environments.
Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments to inform technical and strategic decisions.
Support Government stakeholders in:
Strategic technical planning
Risk management
Performance engineering
Project management
Interface and systems design
Operate at the enterprise level, integrating multiple systems, services, and processes across major acquisition programs and organizational boundaries.
Your work will directly impact the delivery of critical GEOINT capabilities that support national defense, global intelligence partnerships, and real-time mission success. If you're a systems thinker who thrives in high-complexity, high-stakes environments, we want to hear from you.
Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan.
