Project Manager

Peraton is seeking a Project Manager for our South Korea site. We support the "Eighth Army which is America's Pacific Guardians of Freedom". Our team supports C4I functions for the Eighth Army Headquarters and seven Major Subordinate Commands to include tactical communications for multiple theater-level exercises and training events. Eighth Army today stands ready to defend our national interests and those of our allies whenever called upon.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manages team that provides technical assistance to computer system and network users.
• May also have oversight for a data center.
• Provides 24/7 technical support for computers and associated networks.
• Implements policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected.
• Ensures maximum issue resolution in minimum time to meet Service Level Agreements. Evaluates new information systems products or services and suggests changes to existing products or services to better aide the end user.
• Coordinates the preparation of bid specifications for required purchases (e.g., computers, software, (email, firewall, backup) and a variety of parts, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining availability of required items.
• Directs, establishes, plans, and implements the policies and procedures to support the organization's technical support services.
• Manages the deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of servers, desktop PCs, hardware, software, operating systems, and distributed printers.
• Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.

Qualifications:

 

• US Secret Clearance, Minimum Background Investigation complete NALC\T3 with SSBI\T5 initiated.
• US Citizenship required
• MA/MS in Computer Science or closely related field. Substitute for minimum education years BA/BS w/12+ years technical experience.
• 10+ Years technical experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
