Cloud Computing, Senior Associate

This Technical Task Order supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner. These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools. The TTO is performed out of the Peraton contractor facility and offers flexible hours and telework opportunities.

The ideal candidate will become a member of a mature software development effort using Java as the primary language. The development effort uses Agile methods to assign, track and manage software activities and requirements within the team. This position will allow a software developer to develop and broaden their skills in the Java language as well as use current technologies such as Quarkus and PrimeFaces. Use of these technologies allows for full stack development, to include ease of building User Interfaces.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field
  • A Master's degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience. NOTE: A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered as a technical field.
• Shall have a total of at least five (5) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and problem diagnosis/resolution
• One of the following Cloud Developer Certifications are required:
  • AWS Certified Developer-Associate
  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

Desired Qualifications:

• Hadoop/Cloud Developer Certification
• Familiarity with:
  • AWS Cloud technologies
  • Quarkus
  • PrimeFaces
  • GitLab CI/CD
  • Agile methods and tools
• Ability to work in a team environment; good communication and collaboration skills; self-starter
