This Technical Task Order supports a suite of mission-critical, web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. These applications enable the secure capture of information and approvals necessary to move data across the customer mission space in a compliant, standardized, and efficient manner. By simplifying data movement, reuse, and integration with downstream tools, these products play a vital role in advancing the mission. The Technical Task Order is performed at the Peraton contractor facility.
As a Software Engineer, you will join a mature Agile development team using Java as the primary programming language. This role provides the opportunity for an experienced developer to deepen their expertise in Java while gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies such as Quarkus and PrimeFaces. You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design to development, testing, and deployment, in a collaborative Agile environment.
Develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications that support data management and movement across the mission space.
Work as part of an Agile team to define requirements, implement features, and deliver high-quality software.
Leverage modern frameworks and technologies, including Quarkus and PrimeFaces, to improve application performance and user experience.
Ensure compliance with established security and data management standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to support integration with downstream tools and mission workflows.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Note: Four (4) additional years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience designing and implementing complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints.
Ability to perform quality control on team-produced software products.
Experience implementing recommendations to improve documentation and software development process standards.
Ability to collaborate with system engineers and hardware engineers to:
Derive software requirements
Understand project limitations and capabilities
Define performance requirements and interfaces
Experience coordinating software system installation and monitoring equipment functions to ensure compliance with operational specifications.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.
