Responsibilities

Peraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM.  This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.

 

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. 

 

Seeking an experienced Windows Server administrator to manage and support on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based server environments. Working directly within the Trellix and in coordination with the MDE team, deploy, secure, and maintain enterprise infrastructure, including endpoint security policies.

  • Deploy, configure, update, and secure Windows Server workloads
  • Manage hybrid environments (on-premises/cloud) including identity, networking, storage, and security
  • Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
  • Support endpoint security in collaboration with MDE and Trellix teams
  • Monitor and troubleshoot server environments
  • Deploy and manage Windows Server in hybrid on-prem/cloud environments
  • Administer virtual machines and containers using vSphere/VMware
  • Manage storage systems and file services
  • Apply Windows Server security best practices
  • Lead server and workload migration projects

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Min 9 years with HS Diploma, 7 years with AS/AA, 5 years with BS/BA degree, 3 years with a MS/MA degree
  • A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required
  • DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II
  • Experience with Windows Server OS
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell and basic understanding of Linux (RHEL)
  • Proficiency with tools such as:
    • Windows Admin Center
    • PowerShell
    • Azure Arc, Policy, Monitor, Automation Update Management
    • Microsoft Defender for Identity / Cloud
    • vSphere / VMware / IaaS VM administration

Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with Trellix endpoint security (ENS) and associated various security modules
  • Working knowledge of endpoint security policies and implementation
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
