Peraton’s National Programs Business Intelligence Systems & Applications Operating Unit is seeking a Senior Intelligence Collection Expert to join our dynamic team supporting mission-critical operations. This role offers the opportunity to influence senior decision-makers, guide the allocation of resources, and shape intelligence policies. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders to ensure our intelligence operations remain at the cutting edge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on intelligence collection, guiding IT and intelligence teams on optimizing data collection methods.
• Assess intelligence systems for efficiency, identifying gaps and recommending solutions for more effective data gathering.
• Monitor and report on data quality, ensuring the integrity of intelligence collection processes.
• Document and communicate intelligence requirements, working closely with government and military teams to ensure alignment with mission objectives.
• Advise senior leaders on the best application of assets, resource allocation, and intelligence policy formulation to meet the nation’s foreign intelligence needs.
• Provide critical support across various intelligence functions, including HUMINT, GEOINT, and ISR ensuring seamless collection management and tasking.
• Draft clear, concise reports and memoranda that inform strategic decision-making at the highest levels.
• Ability to perform functional testing as part of the software development lifecycle.

Your Expertise:

• Working with users and organizations to help prioritize development requirements for software development teams.
• Experience training and developing documentation to support users utilizing complex applications.
• Ability to work with complex databases and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong communication skills, both in drafting reports and engaging with senior decision-makers and intelligence committees.

Locations: While Herndon, VA, is the primary location, we are open to considering candidates for seats at customer sites in Washington, D.C., College Park, MD, or Indian Head, MD, based on availability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the position +8 years of experience, 4 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience using DoD or IC collection management systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance adjudication with Poly OR ability to obtain SCI successfully pass a polygraph.

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to perform data queries to identify data quality issues or anomalies.
• Experience working with system development and sustainment teams to evaluate new requirements, provide user support, and assist with troubleshooting system or data issues.
• Familiarity with ROME and COUGAR systems.
• Familiarity with functional testing.
• Current Polygraph
