Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Senior Project Manager for the MARFORPAC Chief Data and Analytics effort to support MARFORPAC at Camp Smith, HI and work on-site.

This position supports the MARFORPAC Chief of Staff and requires a dedicated program manager to serve as the Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) to coordinate and oversee the implementation of enterprise data management policies, ensure strategic integration across the KMO and IMO, and serve as the operational focal point for delivering mission-critical data and knowledge projects in alignment with Command and Control (C2) priorities. The CDAO will ensure compliance with federal data lifecycle management policies and provide governance oversight across data cataloging, metadata standardization, and usage reporting. More importantly, this position acts as a delivery integrator — driving coordinated project outcomes between knowledge managers, information managers, and other functional stakeholders. The role is essential for aligning policy compliance with the tactical execution of data and information tasks within the command’s operational framework.

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate the delivery of data-related tasks and policy-compliant projects led by KMO and IMO staff across MARFORPAC divisions as well as joint and mission partners.
  • Implement standardized data governance procedures for operational records, analytics repositories, and command brief production.
  • Monitor adherence to DoD and USMC data policies across staff sections and facilitating compliance reporting as required under 44 U.S.C. §3520.
  • Act as the primary liaison between MARFORPAC and external policy and compliance authorities (e.g., HQMC, DoD CDO Council) to synchronize enterprise requirements.
  • Lead the development of a CDAO-led delivery dashboard to track milestones, dependencies, and risks for active KM and IM programs.
  • Support AI efforts indirectly by ensuring foundational data integrity, lineage, and ethical usage compliance, enabling downstream AI applications to function effectively.
