Cyber Systems Engineer

We are hiring a Cyber Systems Engineer for our program onsite in Huntsville, Alabama. 

What you'll do:

• Create and maintain eMASS packages using vendor and organization provided information.
• Assist and advise product offices on DoD RMF continuous monitoring requirements.
• Employ DoD Risk Management Framework, determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; research information security standards; conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; study architecture/platform; assist PM ASE SME’s in identifying integration issues and prepare cost estimates.
• Create and complete documentation and artifacts in support of continuous monitoring activities.
• Verify security systems by by using DoD approved technologies such as STIG/ACAS/Static Code Analysis.
• Maintain security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting table-top exercises.
• Review DoD IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within computing, network, and enclave environments.
• Ensure that the architecture and design of development and operational systems are functional and secure.
• Design and upgrade program of record systems and special purpose processing nodes with platform IT interconnectivity.

What you'll need:

• 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 7 years with AA, in lieu of degree 9 years of applicable experience will be acceptable. 
• Experience with Army Risk Management Framework 2.0.
• Familiarity with National Institute of Standards and Technology.
• Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
• Experience with Assured Compliance and Assessment Solution (ACAS).
• Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).

Clearance needed:

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
