Are you ready to support mission-critical systems that protect national security? Join Peraton’s high-impact Cyber Mission team as a Cloud Systems Administrator and play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing large-scale cloud clusters.
In this role, you'll work alongside a dynamic team of experts supporting complex infrastructure that enables real-time cyber operations. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing cloud-based systems in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of large-scale cloud clusters.
Collaborate within a structured, mission-focused team environment, following established processes and best practices.
Write and maintain scripts using languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python to automate tasks and streamline operations.
Manage and configure critical Linux system components, including LDAP, DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.
Utilize configuration management tools like Puppet and SaltStack (SALT) to maintain consistency across systems.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant field can be substituted in lieu of the 4 years experience requirement
8570 IAT Level I or higher certification (Security+ CE preferred) is required prior to starting
Cloud System Administrator Certification or equivalent is highly desired (not required)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Proven ability to provide Tier 1–3 support, including issue identification, troubleshooting, resolution, and escalation
Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving issues in cloud computing environments
Strong independent problem-solving and task management skills
Proficient in remote hardware diagnostics and repair
Excellent customer service skills across support channels (tickets, phone, email), including on-call support
Familiarity with AWS and Microsoft Cloud platforms
Experience using cloud monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
