Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Card & Expense Senior Analyst. Reporting into the Travel, Expense, & Card Manager, the Card & Expense Senior Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, auditing all corporate employee travel expenses and credit card activity. Expense Report audits are done daily to ensure financial compliance to mitigate and minimize risks, looks for opportunities to improve current business processes and report any findings to management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Daily audit of corporate travel expenses.
  • Reconcile travel expenses and corporate card transactions for cardholders.
  • Develop strategic initiatives to maintain and improve the audit function as well as identify key risks and control indicators for assigned audit area(s).
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and standards.
  • Work with Senior Management, Directors, and Managers on trending patterns for sector spend, policy compliance (expense report submission and completion).
  • Develop and present monthly reports of the company’s corporate card spend, audit findings, and ad hoc requests.
  • Participate and drive special projects, as required, which includes working closely with various cross-functional teams.
  • Provide professional advice and training to all employees regarding expense process.
  • Contribute to other functional day-to-day activities when needed, including solving customer service issues, expense report review and approval, escalations, and other tasks.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with 5 years of experience, Masters Degree with 3 years of experience, or 9 years of experience with no degree
  • Proficient in Excel. Excel skills to include formatting, pivot tables, V-lookups/X-lookups and ability to manage large datasets with functions.
  • Analytical skills
  • Experience in Auditing
  • Experience with FAR and DCAA requirements
  • Experience in Government Contracting
  • Excellent oral and communication skills
  • US Citizenship

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
