Responsibilities

Peraton has an exciting opportunity for a  ISR Training & Workforce Integration SME will lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide ISR training solutions that align with mission requirements. The position blends senior training expertise with workforce planning acumen to ensure readiness, continuity, and retention across multiple ISR disciplines. The SME will also act as a senior advisor to Peraton’s program and training teams to inform training strategy and synchronize personnel performance with mission demands.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead training initiatives that support ISR operations, intelligence analysis, targeting, mission qualification, and scenario development.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise training programs that meet evolving mission needs and government expectations.
  • Oversee creation and updates of training materials, qualification standards, and scenario-based instructional content.
  • Provide operational leadership to improve workforce retention and onboarding efficiency across all ISR training roles.
  • Interface with customer training representatives to ensure compliance with service-specific training policies and goals.
  • Guide new capability training efforts (e.g., AI/ML, cyber ISR tools) to support evolving TTPs and tools.
  • Contribute to recurring training effectiveness reports and assessments, including metrics and readiness tracking.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience developing and delivering training programs across ISR mission sets, including GEOINT, SIGINT, NTI, multi-INT, targeting, and ISR support operations.
  • Experience overseeing large-scale training efforts and managing personnel readiness across geographically dispersed ISR teams.
  • Familiarity with DoD, Joint, and Air Force ISR policies, procedures, and guidance, including Air Force Instructions (AFIs).
  • Prior leadership role managing or supporting Air Force training, qualification, or career field development programs.
  • Must possess a current TS clearance with SCI eligibility based on SSBI.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Graduate of USAF Weapons School Intelligence Instructor Course or other high-level formal instructor training.
  • Experience commanding ISR units or serving in key roles in Air Force talent management or readiness programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage training, assignment, and certification pipelines for ISR professionals.
  • Familiarity with emerging ISR training platforms and environments (virtual, simulator-based, constructive, etc.).
  • Knowledge of ISR integration with multi-domain operations, including cyber, space, and information warfare.

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
