Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a dynamic Technical Task Lead to manage a staff of more than 25 team members at the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) in Bethesda, MD. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to guide and manage a diverse group of technical professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role requires cultivating partnerships with our customer, assisting in workforce program management, conducting comprehensive workforce analysis, and developing actionable staffing plans. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to teamwork, exceptional leadership skills, and technical expertise to drive our mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead an on-site work team.
  • Experience successfully managing a complex enterprise's operations, strategy, projects and any combination of human resources, finances, logistics, security or public affairs.
  • Contribute to program management objectives and deliverables. Execute strategic initiatives including planning, documentation, tracking, and reporting.  
  • Exceptional communication skills including demonstrated experience briefing senior government executives and/or military leaders. Technical report writing experience.
  • Manage comprehensive recruitment process, including resume screening, candidate interview and selection, and performance evaluations to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage work performance for team members, provide periodic feedback, and document performance against employee's goals and corporate guidelines.
  • Review and approve timesheets for assigned subordinates in compliance with corporate policy.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in online collaboration tools and project management software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Project, SharePoint.
  • Experience in digital forensics (exploitation and examination).
  • Demonstrated motivation to maintain awareness of current digital forensics news and trends.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly.
  • 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science,  Software Engineering, or related technical field required.

Desired

  • Knowledge of cross-functional teams and specialized disciplines within NMEC.
  • Intelligence Community (IC) experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • DoD 8570 Compliance (IAT Level II cert).

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
