Responsibilities

We are hiring a Specialized Subject Matter Expert to provide technical support for government programs.  This position will be offsite in Huntsville, AL.

 

What you'll do:

  • Provide Specialized Subject Matter and unique experience of at least 20 years providing in-depth technical knowledge and highly specialized Aircraft Survivability applications
  • Guide PM Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) through each phase of the acquisition life cycle.
  • Apply cross domain knowledge of ASE systems with an in-depth knowledge of Ultraviolet (UV) and Infrared (IR) missile warning sensors and processing and countermeasure technologies
  • Provide and apply expertise in Infrared (IR) and Radio Frequency detection and countermeasures, laser detection, and advanced missile seeker technologies
  • Provide and apply expertise in understanding, analyzing, designing, and testing multi-spectral threats.
  • Provide and apply in-depth experience in threat exploitation, as well as characterizing and developing threat detection and defeat techniques
  • Provide specialized experience and expertise defining ASE Technical Performance Parameters (TPM) and assessing Technology Readiness
  • Provide specialized experience and expertise in reliability testing of ASE systems
  • Provide specialized experience and expertise in production and manufacturing of ASE technologies

 

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Education: 16 years with BS; 14 years with MS; 10 years with PhD
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience working with various aircraft survivability systems and technologies
  • Experience with highly specialized applications, high-level functional analysis, design, and integration on exceptionally complex problems related to the effective implementation of ASE Systems
  • Experience creating scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures that align with an organization's business needs and objectives
  • Experience with defense applications of agile software development and testing
  • Experience with Aviation System Mission Equipment Cyber Survivability and Electronic Warfare
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-loop development and its use for system training and evaluations

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
