Responsibilities

We are looking to add a Quality Testing Analyst to our team of talented professionals!

 

What you'll do:

  • Review and validate software requirements, business rules, and technical specifications.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements, user feedback, and business priorities.
  • Document test results thoroughly, identify anomalies, and recommend process or product improvements based on findings.
  • Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing, both manual and automated across various platforms and test frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to verify bug fixes, validate enhancements, and ensure product quality.
  • Design, enhance, and support scalable and repeatable QA processes, including test automation and reporting solutions.
  • Manage multiple testing efforts and priorities under tight timelines across diverse application modules.
  • Mentor and provide training to QA team members as needed.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data and perform comprehensive data quality testing.
  • Conduct accessibility testing and document results to ensure compliance with Section 508 standards.
  • Actively participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and team meetings.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing environments, coordinating with stakeholders, and participating in sprint demos and product walkthroughs.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years with AS/AA; Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Proven expertise in front-end interface testing with a focus on user personas and real-world user interaction scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server and strong skills in writing and executing backend tests using complex SQL queries.
  • Proficient in drafting detailed test plans and test cases aligned with business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Solid experience in web services and API testing (e.g., RESTful and SOAP APIs), including validation of request/response and data flows.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile-Scrum methodologies, including participation in sprints and agile ceremonies.
  • Experience with gathering test metrics, tracking progress, and contributing to QA process improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear reporting of QA outcomes.
  • Must have ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Federal healthcare project experience preferred; familiarity with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) systems.
  • Proficient in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Gauge, Taiko, Playwright, and Cypress.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java and JavaScript for test script development and automation framework enhancements.
  • Strong working knowledge of test and project management tools, including JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, and HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
