Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an client specific DoD Project Manager with experience leading a diverse team of DoD contracted Irregular Warfare Analysts, Financial Analysts, and Law Enforcement Operations Integrators  to achieve organizational objectives within our Clients and supported interagency partners workspaces. The Project Manager will lead the team to coordinate, synchronize, and integrate a wide range of DoD capabilities with IA mission partners to support time-sensitive, dynamic, and deliberate operations and activities that deliver comprehensive, multi-layered actions - sequenced to achieve maximum whole-of-government effects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall project management of activities for our Peraton and subcontractor partners operations and supported activities in the Clients AOR including reviewing status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports, assesses project issues and risks and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned project objectives and provides a single point of contact for those project goals and objectives
  • Lead the Team in delivering operational intelligence skill sets and expertise to support interagency (IA) and DoD partner efforts to: disrupt, degrade, deny, destroy, and manipulate (D4M) enemy Unmanned Aerial Systems, Advanced Conventional Weapons, and Weapons of Mass Destruction procurement, development, production, proliferation.
  • Oversee and manage all operational aspects of ongoing project milestones, and serve as liaison between project technical support and planning, project team, and line management, and the Military/Government customer lead
  • Responsible for all Project Management Tasks: project schedule, deliverable tracking, monitoring/manage project deliverables uploads to the share portal, data inputs, Monthly Technical Status Meeting slide preparations and presentation
  • Responsible for financial analysis support such as: monitor project financial trends (spend plans, burn rates), provides what-if financial scenarios, prepares financial data reports, supports invoice approvals
  • Responsible for travel management; drafts/submits all Travel Authorization Requests (TARS) into the workflow for approval; drafts/submits expense reports for the team to support timely invoicing activities
  • Manages all subcontractor statements of work and work performance by suppliers, Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
  • Provide data management and Quality Assurance (QA) across multiple project work products and information systems to meet both Knowledge Management (KM) and Records Management surety requirements to client facing enterprise.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, and for intervention and problem solving with program manager and clients
  • Provide periodic and ad hoc status reports focused on progress, newly identified issues, closed issues, and challenges

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of DoD project management planning experience or 6 years with an MS/MA with an MS/MA
  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of DoD project management experience on similar government contracts with OCONUS support in direct support to special operations customers, to include forward deployed experience in Afghanistan and Iraq.
  • Must possess in-depth experience in providing operational intelligence skill sets and expertise to support interagency (IA) and DoD partner efforts to: disrupt, degrade, deny, destroy, and manipulate (D4M) enemy Unmanned Aerial Systems, Advanced Conventional Weapons, and Weapons of Mass Destruction procurement, development, production, proliferation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ Office 365 (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
  • Proficiency in SharePoint platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new IT systems and create process instructions for others to follow – demonstrated experience in all the latest technology for IT systems supporting client intelligence tools and databases
  • Must have experience managing distributed teams comprised of personnel from subcontracted partners
  • Must have the ability to identify personnel and mission issues early, develop mitigation plans and communicate potential impacts and alternate course of action impacts to the customer and the program Mgr.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must possess a current U.S. Passport.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Desired:

  • Master’s Degree and PMP Certificate
  • Prior Military All Source Intelligence with Irregular Warfare experience - Relevant current DoD project management work with any of the Combatant Commands
  • In-depth experience in the Intelligence Community, with strong command of conducting full-spectrum human intelligence operations, all-source targeting, HUMINT tradecraft/instruction, OSINT tradecraft, and SIGINT technical tradecraft/instruction.
  • Direct previous support experience with current CCMD efforts in delivering operational intelligence skill sets and expertise to support interagency (IA) and DoD partner efforts to: disrupt, degrade, deny, destroy, and manipulate (D4M) enemy Unmanned Aerial Systems, Advanced Conventional Weapons, and Weapons of Mass Destruction procurement, development, production, proliferation

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
