Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Business Development and Partner Engagements Manager to lead the growth of our federal business through strategic platform partnerships and internal sales enablement. In this high-impact role, you will drive joint go-to-market (GTM) activities with leading technology providers and empower Peraton’s Account Managers and Business Development Associates to integrate partner capabilities into winning solutions across defense, intelligence, health, and civilian missions.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline by activating GTM programs with key platform partners such as Okta, AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Oracle, ServiceNow, Salesforce, CrowdStrike, and Palo Alto Networks.
  • Develop and execute joint value propositions that integrate platform partner offerings into Peraton’s solutions for enterprise IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and mission systems.
  • Enable internal sales teams—including Account Managers and BD Associates—with playbooks, partner messaging, training sessions, and pursuit support materials.
  • Act as the connective tissue between platform partners and internal capture and sales teams to align capabilities with upcoming opportunities and federal initiatives.
  • Lead account-specific partner strategy planning in coordination with GTM, capture, and delivery leads.
  • Track partner performance and influence across pipeline, deal velocity, and win rates, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize engagement.
  • Provide insight on evolving partner ecosystems, emerging technologies, and integration strategies to guide Peraton’s growth roadmap.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, partner/channel sales, or federal GTM strategy.
  • Demonstrated success growing pipeline and revenue through cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise platform partners within the federal space.
  • Experience enabling internal sales teams with tools, messaging, and partner co-sell support.
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition processes and experience navigating teaming strategies with platform and system integrator partners.
  • Strong relationship-building and coordination skills across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preferred:
  • Familiarity with key federal mission needs in areas such as Identity & Access Management, Zero Trust, cloud modernization, data security, and application transformation.
  • Prior experience supporting alliances or partner strategy in a systems integrator or federal partner ecosystem.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
